Happy Columbus Day

Today is October 10. It's the second Monday in October. You know what that means, Columbus Day! Well, if you've never heard of it, or never kept up with it, DON'T feel bad! I didn't even realize that it was a national holiday until I started working for the federal government 4 years ago. Not only is it a national holiday, but it's a FEDERAL holiday! So that means I get a day off for, in my opinion, nothing! Whoo hoo! But you know what's so ironic, this morning I woke up at about 5:25. (it was mostly because I fell asleep at a friend's by mistake WITH my contacts in. and when I got home, I did go back to sleep!) Now the funny thing is that on a "normal" work morning, IF I wake up before 8am, I feel PROUD! How ridiculous!
Oh well...Columbus Day, one of the perks of having a good gov't job!

I think that is hilarious that you woke up at 5:25. That just shows how much you don't like SSA. You probably felt relieved not having to go in there. That's ok boo you won't be there forever. This season too will end. (Still LOL)

Exactly! And I think I actually was woke for a while before I actually got up! I definitely WON'T be there forever! But I realize it IS quite funny!

Oh yes, Punky! I am a FAITHFUL 9:30 to 6 person!! Whoo hoo! Don't tell me you are one of those 7:30 to 4 people, or GOD FORBID, 6:00 to 2:30 people! I can't fathom waking up that early!

So...I have decided that for REAL this time, I want to cut my hair...specifically like Rihanna's cute lil bob cut!! I want it cut like that AND colored!! It will be cute...I will be cute WITH it and I'm excited!! For a while, I was "afraid" to cut my hair, but why...seriously, it's JUST hair!! Bright as a highliter!! Really?

Warning: the following post is about tinkle aka urine! If you care not to know about this part of my life, please exit this blog now! (Or read a few other posts!) OK, now that I've given the warning...I have a question: Is anyone else UTTERLY DISTURBED by the fact that vitamins cause your tinkle (calling it "pee" seemed so juvenile in writing, although that is TOTALLY what I call it in "real life!") to be FLUORESCENT? I mean...honestly, I'm sure that if I took my vitamins later in the day and I went to the bathroom at night, then I'd probably NOT need to turn the light on. I'm rather bothered by the fact that something that is supposed to supplement and help my body causes another bodily function to alter, for lack of a better way to say it, in such a way!
