traits vs. looks

Lately,
I've been REALLY finding myself more attracted to guys who are cute or "have their own look" but are great people as opposed to fine guys who are just cool! Is it just me (and my sister) or is there just something so incredibly SEXY about a guy who can hold a conversation intelligently? There's something about someone who knows WORDS and uses them correctly and thinks that white t-shirts are to be worn as UNDERGARMENTS only! (well, for the most part. Nothing wrong with it, every NOW and again, as a part of the outfit!) Whoo! Give it up for the man with an education who isn't afraid to let people know that he has one! YES! And a heart for the people, a philanthropist, will just get me EVERY time! Even my latest celebrity obsessions...oops, I mean, crushes, reflect my new attitude! Is it because I'm getting older? Or is it because i'm looking for a husband now...as opposed to just a boyfriend like when I was a little younger?

Altough I have never been one to have a crush on the popular one. I too find myself more attracted to people with better qualities versues better looks. I have a soft spot for someone with vision, drive, and a giving heart. I think it is because we are getting older and what becomes important to us changes. ie I want to be with a man who treat me like gold even when we feel like BELCH.

So...I have decided that for REAL this time, I want to cut my hair...specifically like Rihanna's cute lil bob cut!! I want it cut like that AND colored!! It will be cute...I will be cute WITH it and I'm excited!! For a while, I was "afraid" to cut my hair, but why...seriously, it's JUST hair!! Bright as a highliter!! Really?

Warning: the following post is about tinkle aka urine! If you care not to know about this part of my life, please exit this blog now! (Or read a few other posts!) OK, now that I've given the warning...I have a question: Is anyone else UTTERLY DISTURBED by the fact that vitamins cause your tinkle (calling it "pee" seemed so juvenile in writing, although that is TOTALLY what I call it in "real life!") to be FLUORESCENT? I mean...honestly, I'm sure that if I took my vitamins later in the day and I went to the bathroom at night, then I'd probably NOT need to turn the light on. I'm rather bothered by the fact that something that is supposed to supplement and help my body causes another bodily function to alter, for lack of a better way to say it, in such a way! Rhetorical?

Just had a random thought I had as I called Five Guys to get the price of a "little cheeseburger". When you call a place like Five Guys or Pizza Hut or anywhere that is a business that accepts calls from customers, when they say "can you please hold?" is it actually a rhetorical question? or better yet, is it actually a demand posed as a polite question...which is just "polite" for "I have something else to do right now so I can't talk to you, so HOLD! If you don't like it, TOUGH!! At least we 'asked'?" Because think about it, when the voice on the other end of the phone asked me if I would please hold...what were my options? I could have said, "No! I won't hold! " but where would that have gotten me? Would she have actually stopped ringing up people in my ear and heard my question? I highly doubt it! So I just said "sure!" and held the phone until I figured she was never coming back to her end--she was t...
